aria torres

Kerstin Neubauer alias Aria Torres, was born in Styria, Austria. A classical guitarist and composer, she had her first musical experiences in early childhood. At the age of 15 she studied classical guitar at the University of Arts in Graz.

Soon after, she created her first original compositions. In an authentic mix of genres, she combines various musical currents: meditation and mantras, classical music, Latino/Tango, music from Klezmer, traditional folk music, jazz elements, Irish folk music and contemporary music. She brings these all together to create a new, extraordinary and harmonious sound experience. She calls this potpourri “Classic Fusion.”

Her music is driven by an emotional outburst in which the strings become an extension of her body — a direct transmission from emotion to guitar — from composition to audience. She leads her listeners through the access of frequencies into their heart, intuitively shifting from tension to relaxation, from gentleness to passion, into the grace of the universal connection of our higher “self.”

Meditation is an inner journey of the listener. The music evokes a change of senses that allows us to dive into deep layers of our subconscious; where the daily consciousness ends, the adventure begins.

“music moves”

“That the serenity, which often and gladly Meister Eckhart quoted as the double swing of letting go of the unessential in letting in the essential, has nothing to do with indifference and indifference, became clear with the “S’pfeffrige” final chords of the presentation. Aria Torres performed her own composed mixture of spices called “S’Pfeffrige” (Salzburger Nachrichten).”
